Quem tira partido dessa ambiguidade?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A resposta costuma ser: toda a gente, at\u00e9 que algo avarie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O vidro laminado com camadas refor\u00e7adas termicamente insere-se numa \u00e1rea peculiar, valiosa e muito mal interpretada. \u00c9 mais resistente do que o vidro laminado recozido, tem geralmente um aspeto mais limpo do que o vidro laminado totalmente temperado e \u00e9 muito menos suscet\u00edvel \u00e0s cl\u00e1ssicas situa\u00e7\u00f5es de \u201cestilha\u00e7amento e queda\u201d que as pessoas temem quando o vidro temperado monol\u00edtico falha. No entanto, n\u00e3o se trata de uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o de seguran\u00e7a universal. N\u00e3o \u00e9, por defini\u00e7\u00e3o, um vidro \u00e0 prova de explos\u00e3o. N\u00e3o \u00e9, por defini\u00e7\u00e3o, um vidro resistente a furac\u00f5es. A norma 16 CFR Parte 1201 refere o vidro laminado, o vidro temperado, o vidro armado, o vidro com revestimento org\u00e2nico, o vidro recozido e os pl\u00e1sticos entre os materiais de envidra\u00e7amento de edif\u00edcios abrangidos pelos requisitos de seguran\u00e7a e prote\u00e7\u00e3o. O problema do mercado n\u00e3o \u00e9 a falta de regulamenta\u00e7\u00e3o. Essa diferen\u00e7a \u00e9 importante. Altera a resist\u00eancia, o padr\u00e3o de fratura, o risco de repeti\u00e7\u00e3o e o comportamento do vidro ap\u00f3s a primeira fratura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gosto de vidro laminado temperado quando \u00e9 utilizado no local mais adequado. N\u00e3o gosto quando os vendedores o apresentam como \u201cessencialmente solidificado, mas muito melhor\u201d. Essa frase \u00e9 pregui\u00e7osa. E, por vezes, perigosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"where-laminated-glass-with-heat-strengthened-lites-actually-works\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Onde o vidro laminado com camadas refor\u00e7adas termicamente funciona realmente<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Funciona melhor em envidra\u00e7amentos arquitet\u00f3nicos em que a reten\u00e7\u00e3o ap\u00f3s a quebra \u00e9 importante, em que se procura a m\u00e1xima qualidade visual e em que as condi\u00e7\u00f5es de carga n\u00e3o exigem o comportamento de fragmenta\u00e7\u00e3o total nem a resist\u00eancia ideal das placas de vidro totalmente temperadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Considere as superf\u00edcies das fachadas cortina. Pense nas prote\u00e7\u00f5es dos terra\u00e7os, com base na legisla\u00e7\u00e3o e na engenharia. Considere o vidro superior quando a equipa de projeto tiver verificado adequadamente o tipo de vidro, a camada interm\u00e9dia, o suporte, a inclina\u00e7\u00e3o, as medidas de resposta e a estrat\u00e9gia de substitui\u00e7\u00e3o. Considere as fachadas em que a tens\u00e3o do sulfureto de n\u00edquel leva a equipa a afastar-se do vidro monol\u00edtico totalmente solidificado, mas em que o vidro laminado temperado \u00e9 demasiado fr\u00e1gil para suportar o vento, as tens\u00f5es t\u00e9rmicas ou as cargas estruturais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para obras de fachada de maior dimens\u00e3o e centradas na seguran\u00e7a, a op\u00e7\u00e3o interior que melhor se adequa \u00e9&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/theinsulatedglass.com\/pt\/custom-curtain-wall-laminated-glass-for-safety-use\/\">vidro laminado personalizado para revestimento de paredes, destinado a aplica\u00e7\u00f5es de seguran\u00e7a<\/a>, porque a express\u00e3o \u201csuperf\u00edcie da parede cortina\u201d orienta a discuss\u00e3o para os sistemas, e n\u00e3o apenas para os pain\u00e9is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eis o crit\u00e9rio que utilizo para avaliar uma especifica\u00e7\u00e3o:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ser\u00e1 que a estrutura consegue resistir a uma ruptura sem que isso tenha consequ\u00eancias imediatas? Ser\u00e1 que o vidro pode ser substitu\u00eddo sem ter de paralisar metade do projeto? A camada interm\u00e9dia foi selecionada tendo em conta a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o, e n\u00e3o apenas a resist\u00eancia? Quando se parte, divide-se em pequenos fragmentos. \u00c9 habitualmente utilizado em situa\u00e7\u00f5es em que \u00e9 exigida seguran\u00e7a contra impactos e em que s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rias vidra\u00e7as de seguran\u00e7a conformes com a normativa. No entanto, o vidro totalmente solidificado pode apresentar problemas de distor\u00e7\u00e3o em onda de rolo, anisotropia, danos espont\u00e2neos associados a inclus\u00f5es de sulfureto de n\u00edquel e, quando utilizado de forma monol\u00edtica, perda repentina da integridade do painel ap\u00f3s a forma\u00e7\u00e3o de uma fissura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O vidro temperado costuma partir-se em fragmentos maiores. Numa estrutura laminada, esses peda\u00e7os podem permanecer colados \u00e0 camada interm\u00e9dia, formando um painel rachado mas intacto, em vez de uma chuva de peda\u00e7os. \u00c9 isso que o torna t\u00e3o atraente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No entanto, \u00e9 precisamente aqui que alguns prestadores de servi\u00e7os se tornam enganadores: o vidro temperado, por si s\u00f3, n\u00e3o \u00e9 o mesmo que vidro de seguran\u00e7a. O conjunto laminado pode ser considerado adequado se for testado e certificado de forma adequada ao abrigo da norma pertinente, mas a express\u00e3o \u201ctemperado\u201d por si s\u00f3 \u00e9 insuficiente. As orienta\u00e7\u00f5es da Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Nacional do Vidro relativas ao vidro tratado termicamente indicam claramente que o vidro temperado n\u00e3o \u00e9, por si s\u00f3, um produto de vidro de seguran\u00e7a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c9 nessa distin\u00e7\u00e3o que as alega\u00e7\u00f5es ganham for\u00e7a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"the-2024-code-signal-structural-glass-is-getting-much-less-flexible\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">O C\u00f3digo de 2024: O vidro estrutural est\u00e1 a tornar-se muito menos flex\u00edvel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A tend\u00eancia na discuss\u00e3o sobre o c\u00f3digo \u00e9 evidente: o vidro arquitet\u00f3nico deve ser tratado como uma estrutura, e n\u00e3o como decora\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uma an\u00e1lise de 2024 sobre as altera\u00e7\u00f5es ao Cap\u00edtulo 24 do IBC refere que os vidros laminados solidificados e os vidros laminados refor\u00e7ados termicamente s\u00e3o os \u00fanicos tipos considerados estruturalmente adequados em todas as condi\u00e7\u00f5es de instala\u00e7\u00e3o para determinadas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es de vidro arquitet\u00f3nico, enquanto o vidro solidificado de camada \u00fanica est\u00e1 limitado nos casos em que n\u00e3o exista uma superf\u00edcie de circula\u00e7\u00e3o, tal como indicado abaixo, ou nos casos em que haja medidas de seguran\u00e7a contra a queda de vidro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Isso n\u00e3o \u00e9 uma informa\u00e7\u00e3o secund\u00e1ria. \u00c9 o mundo da programa\u00e7\u00e3o a dizer: o comportamento ap\u00f3s uma falha \u00e9 importante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">E \u00e9 assim que deve ser. Entre 1980 e 2024, a NOAA registou 403 cat\u00e1strofes comprovadas nos EUA que causaram preju\u00edzos de mil milh\u00f5es de d\u00f3lares, com a m\u00e9dia anual atual para o per\u00edodo de 2020\u20132024 a atingir 23,0 eventos, contra 9,0 ao longo de todo o per\u00edodo de 1980\u20132024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Isso significa que todas as janelas t\u00eam de ter vidro laminado refor\u00e7ado termicamente? N\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Isto indica que o antigo h\u00e1bito de definir o vidro de seguran\u00e7a laminado b\u00e1sico sem ter em conta detritos transportados pelo vento, ciclos de press\u00e3o, danos nas arestas, movimento da estrutura e log\u00edstica de substitui\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 a tornar-se cada vez mais insustent\u00e1vel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No caso de aberturas dom\u00e9sticas e comerciais em que a efici\u00eancia energ\u00e9tica tamb\u00e9m faz parte do briefing, a op\u00e7\u00e3o mais sensata poder\u00e1 ser&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/theinsulatedglass.com\/pt\/factory-direct-energy-efficient-door-and-window-glass\/\">vidros para janelas e portas energeticamente eficientes, vendidos diretamente da f\u00e1brica<\/a>&nbsp;ou&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/theinsulatedglass.com\/pt\/custom-sizes-bulk-supply-online-low-e-glass\/\">vidro low-e com dimens\u00f5es personalizadas para fornecimento a granel<\/a>, especialmente quando \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio conciliar o controlo solar com a tens\u00e3o t\u00e9rmica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O vidro n\u00e3o falha em grupos.
